Bought two tickets online from Ticketmaster to see Rush's final tour. Tried to log in multiple times prior to the event and call to print tickets to get an idea of seating.
No response. Drove 1.5 hours to get tickets at box office at SAP center in San Jose, CA. After 30 minutes, given "nosebleed" seating. Paid $400 for 2 tickets: face value of 2 tickets totals $122.
Refused to stay for show. Asked SAP center for refund or upgrade. SAP center would do nothing to appease and actually admitted to Ticketmaster's use of "legal" scalping through third party sellers. Ticketmaster does not answer complaints.
They are gangsters allowed to operate in a grey zone regarding the law, offering absolutely no refunds. Tried disputing charges with Bank of America. They refused due to TM's " no refund" policy. Dropped BOA- will never return.
Will never purchase anything via Ticketmaster ever again.
Urging all friends and family to avoid both companies, as well as the San Jose SAP center. Fitting name.
