I attempted to purchase seven tickets for the Sammy Hagar concert on July 13 in West Palm Beach. I submitted my order.
It said I would receive a text with a code to verify my credit card. When I got the code and entered it, I was alerted that I had run out of time (it had only been a very short time) I closed the browser and ended my transaction a short time later I received an email saying that I had purchased the tickets. In the meantime, my son went on under his account and purchased the seven tickets in another section. Now Im stuck with seven tickets and I cannot get a refund.
the representatives that I spoke to on Wednesday the 15th told me to call back on Friday the 17th once the tickets were no longer on pre-sale and then I could get a refund. He said he was fielding multiple calls for the same issue that the sessions were timing out and then people were being charged for the tickets.
Monetary Loss: $743.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Ticketmaster Cons: Poor customer service.
