Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I filed a complaint with the BBB and Ticketmaster responded right away to it.

Updated by user Nov 24, 2024

I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau and got a repsonse back from Ticketmaster within 24 hours of submitting the complaint with them.

Original review Nov 18, 2024
On 9/20/24, I purchased 4 tickets online through Ticketmaster for the Yacht Rock Show in Atlanta on 10/5/24. On 9/26/24, I got an email from Ticketmaster saying that I had transferred the tickets from my account to another person.

I called Ticketmaster the following morning as soon as I got the to notify them that someone got into my account without my knowledge or consent and transferred the tickets to another person. In addition, I immediately reset and changed my password. The representative I spoke with said they were opening a fraud case and I should get the tickets back within 3-5 business days. I called Ticketmaster back on 9/30, 10/1/,10/2,10/3,10/4 and 10/5 and was never able to get any resolution from them.

I asked to speak with a supervisor every time I called and was told that one was not available, but would get a call back from a supervisor within 48 hours. To this day, I have not gotten a call or email from a supervisor at Ticketmaster. On 10/5/24, I contacted Wells Fargo and Visa and disputed the credit card charge for these tickets and told them what happened. On 11/16/24, I got a letter from Wells Fargo saying that they would not reverse the charge since I had purchased the tickets.

There are numerous cases of people losing their tickets the same exact way and not being able to get this resolved with Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster is not protecting consumers or doing an acceptable job protecting people from the data breach they experienced. Every Ticketmaster representative I spoke with said they were escalating my fraud case, but not one thing has happened. I have spent over 14 hours on hold and pleading with Ticketmaster to get my money back.

The order number for the ticket purchase was 54-4****/ATL and the total amount I am trying to get back is $262.24.

Please call me at 404-886-**** or email me at dpiha@***.com for more information. Thank you.

  • Horrible customer service
  • Very long hold times when you call them

Preferred solution: Full refund

User's recommendation: Only use an American Express card in case you have to dispute the charge. They're the only credit card that really protects consumers.

Ticketmaster - Haven’t been paid from sold tickets

I tried to get a hold of Ticketmaster about my sold tickets. I waited for almost an hour.

It seems I got paid under a dollar for two $400.00 tickets. This is unacceptable and pathetic.

Tickets were somehow booked in wrong city

Contains 1 confidential file for company representatives

My grandson saved and saved for the Connor price order # 300006****652****. They were supposed to be for Atlanta, GA.

He was so excited when we gave this to him for his birthday. Well, they are booked in Seattle, Washington. That is clear across the USA from us. Can you please just click your button and change it?

Don't break his heart and ruin his birthday, please.

He saved for so long. Plus, the ones in GA are cheaper, so you shouldn't have an issue with changing.

It was virtually impossible to speak with a US based rep. I made numerous calls for assistance always getting routed to India. The language barrier and awful distorted connections was awful.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Route an account holder to a US based rep. When asked.

Since I am a Green Bay Packer season ticket holder, automatically routed to Ticketmaster regarding the Packer account and trying to sell my tickets; or even accessing those tickets and trying to update my account information, the hassle that I went through is unacceptable.

I will lodge a complaint with the Packer ticket office as well. Thank you!

Pros:
  • Great for concert tickets albeit they drive up prices
Cons:
  • Do not jibe with the pro teams tix office period

Preferred solution: Assurance that when I talk to Ticketmaster, I can speak to a US Rep. when I make that request. Moreover, Ticketmaster and the pro football teams they ticket for are consistent

User's recommendation: For season pro football ticket holders only, lodge a complaint with that pro team ticket office

Resolved: Unable to access website or phone app to download tickets

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I had to download a compatible browser and turn off my VPN. Also the staff at Madison Square Garden had a specific help desk for ticketing issues and I got around my sim card issues using their wifi.

Original review Nov 09, 2024
Ticketmaster Fan support did get back to me independently of this PissedConsumer inquiry, and they did correctly identify the cause of my issues. The difficulty accessing the website / app and tickets was due to my use of a VPN and also a browser not supported by Ticketmaster.

The reason for this being wound down so tight on their side is they have a lot of problems with Bots trying to buy up tickets, so anything that resembles what a Bot would do is blocked. That is an absolutely legitimate reason, so it wouldn't be fair to cane TM for the inconvenience here, this is the state of the online world today.

I had additional problems with my phone Sim card only picking up 2G (I was travelling to NY from the UK), which was due to my phone not being supported by TMobile. I need not have worried in the end, the staff at Madison Square Garden have a dedicated desk for sorting out ticketing issues and there was really no risk of missing the event.

Cons:
  • Not the quickest support response

User's recommendation: Check TM's system compatibility requirements and turn off any VPN you may be running before accessing your tickets.

I need help logging into my account. I would like to have this phone call to talk to a real person so they can walk me through the procedure to log back into my account. What is this about 100 syllables?

Resolved: Urgent Ticketmaster Complaint

Updated by user Sep 13, 2024

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product replacement. Thank you Aran for your excellent customer service!

My issue has been resolved!

Apparently there was a miscommunication of why my tickets were cancelled. There was still the issue of a failure to notify me so that I could hurry and get similar seats before they were gone, so I was provided a even better set of tickets for the same price :).

Original review Sep 13, 2024
Hello. I purchased 2 tickets on StubHub on 8/24/24 for an event on 9/21/24 in Scottsdale, AZ. After purchasing the tickets, the StubHub app said to access my tickets on Ticketmaster. So, I signed into my TM account and accepted my tickets - they were then in my account (I have screenshots). Then, on 9/3, I tried to sign in to TM to view more event details and was unable to sign in to my account. I contacted TM fan support to tell them I couldn't sign in and was told someone would contact me in 3-5 business days.

On 9/11, I received an email stating that I could now access and sign into my TM account. I signed in and my tickets were no longer there! Yesterday, 9/12, I called TM to find out why my tickets were no longer in my account and the representative placed me on hold to research. He then said that the original buyer of the tickets requested a refund from TM for their original ticket purchase and TM issued a refund to the original buyer and cancelled my tickets!! (Recorded call). How is this possible? How can Ticketmaster give a refund when that person no longer owned them because they were sold to me and were transferred and accepted into my Ticketmaster account?! Also, I thought there were no refunds unless the event was cancelled, and the event was not cancelled. It just doesn't make any sense! They said I needed to contact StubHub for a refund. I told them I don't want a refund, I want my tickets back because I have non-refundable flights and hotel accommodations because the event is out of state.

So, I called StubHub and was told that my tickets were valid when I purchased them on StubHub, and I was able to claim them, and they were transferred into my TM account. I accepted them and saw them in my TM account so, TM must have issued the original buyer a refund after that!

Why would TM issue the original buyer a refund when the original buyer no longer owned the tickets? TM obviously made a mistake when issuing a refund to the original buyer and that is their error!! I need my tickets back from Ticketmaster or comparable seats because they stole my tickets out of my account!

On top of all of this, you would think they would have notified me when they cancelled the order and took my tickets – not a word! If I hadn't logged in to view details about the event, I would not have even known until after taking my flight, checking into the hotel, getting ready, and getting to the venue!

Please help me resolve this today or I will be forced to file a complaint with BBB and potentially pursue legal action. I appreciate your immediate attention to this matter. Thank you!

I am senior, and am not comfortable with 100% digital ticketing. I thought I had added all my tickets to my phone wallet, but was missing the parking ticket.

Since I couldn't remember my password, and the system won't accept prior used passwords it is very difficult to choose one and remember it. I miss paper tickets.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. 1 hour before the show I got a phone call from Ticketmaster saying I will receive a full refund. I had to jump through some hoops and wait on hold for a long time but they say they are refunding all my money in 5-7 days.

Original review Nov 08, 2024

I bought tickets in July for a show on November 9, 2024. The line-up was Theory of a Deadman, Saint Asonia, and Escape the Fate in Atlantic City, NJ.

The only reason I bought these overpriced tickets was to see Saint Asonia. For whatever reason, Saint Asonia is no longer playing/on the line-up, so I called Ticketmaster for a refund. They informed me it's non-refundable.

How is that not false advertising? If you buy a product with missing pieces, you would expect the company to replace or refund your money for the product, right?
